Zooming into the future!

Zooming into the future!

One of the many positive take-aways from The Quarantine may be the use of Zoom meetings. We all seemed bewildered at first, but gradually the learning curve got easier. (How sweet it would be if you could mute anyone, anytime!) I’ve attended several meetings and even find myself rehearsing with my improv group on Zoom. Nothing like catching a glimpse of yourself when you’re not prepared! I fiddle with the camera angle, adjust the lighting, fluff myself up, I still don’t look as fab as I hoped. Aargh, online truth is tough! Zoom has presented us with a new rules of etiquette for meetings- like don’t chomp on your lunch,  fiddle with your camera and make us sea sick,  mute yourself when not talking, don’t make rude gestures or roll your eyes at other people, and hopefully, don’t doze off. It is a great way to connect during this quarantine and opens lots of other possibilities! See you in cyber space!
